Collection for Korean culture Korean version of 四庫全書 consisted of major 3,500 people's anthologies through Korean history 《A Series of Korean Successive Literary Works(韓國歷代文集叢書)》 is the data compiled into 3,000 volumes about a literary collection of more than 3,500 major figures from Korean ancient times(Silla) to modern times(the Japanese ruling era). Various kinds of data are used in contacting Korean history and literature, but the absolute resource of the data is in a series of literary works. Especially 《 A Series of Korean Successive Literary Works》 includes about 80% of the materials which are not reported thus far, and it is unrivaled in its quantity and value. It is the most fundamental data in the research of Korean history and literature.  《A Series of Korean Successive Literary Works》 is not only the basic data for the research of Korean studies but also a treasury of the contents Korean culture to lead Korean wave in future. The inexhaustible contents of a diversity of historic eventsㆍliteratureㆍartㆍdiplomacyㆍgeneral knowledge etc. put in each literary collection are the ones to present a storytelling of Korean culture and lead Korean wave. In addition, it provides the source of the culture of Korean wave more easily to the culture-interested people as well as the researchers of Korean studies in the world, and it has its great significance in that it has prepared an important foundation for the development of Korean studies.

《한국문집총간》은 고전번역과 국학연구의 기초자료 제공을 목적으로 1910년 이전까지 생존했던 우리나라 주요 인물들의 문집을 체계적으로 수집 · 정리하고 표점을 더하여 정편 350집, 속편 150집, 총 500집으로 간행하였음.

This series is a collection of 400 volumes from important 466 books related geography, customs and history of Korea published between late Chosen and 1945. There contained scenic spots and important data on local government and pictures, statistics. Especially, local newspapers and geographical writings written by community leaders and famous people, Korea's geographical and statistical data based on modern methodologies made in Japan government agencies including Korea general government are the most appropriate data to understanding present Korea. Of course, there is no use to say that these materials were for obtaining the knowledge to govern Korea. Although those are the creature of reign made by Japan, however, those materials are important and indispensible facts to explain modern history of Korea. In addition, this collection contains critical literatures in North Korea as well as South Korea and it is expected to have a big role for research on North Korea.

Basic material for the historical identification between Korea and Japan for 2000 years The best collection of historical material that 20,000 materials collected, organized and translated written in Samguksagi(三國史記), Samgungnyusa(三國遺事), Goryeosa(高麗史), Goryeosajeoryo(高麗史節要), Joseonwangjo-sillok(朝鮮王朝實錄). Lately, as the relationship between Korea and Japan is frequent and the current issues are accumulated, it is more urgent to identify the history of relation between two countries. Because it is important to reflect on past historical facts in order to  promote reconciliation between two countries and establish the future-oriented partnership. However, collecting, organizing and translation of historical materials about this problem should be preceded first to explain the history of relation between two countries being lasted about 2,000 years. This book is consisted of historical materials collected and organized the main articles related to Japan and Korea for about 2,000 years from ancient times to modern opening port period. Professor Son, Seung-cheol of Kangwon university collected and organized about 20,000 articles of relationship between Korea and Japan contained in basic Korean historical materials and then re-organized them in chronological order. Total 32 volumes, 29 with translated and original materials including 3 with chronology and index, composes this series. There contain total 19,543 cases in this series - 91 cases in Samguksagi (三國史記), 15 cases in Samgungnyusa(三國遺事), 687 cases in Goryeosa(高麗史), 581 cases in Goryeosajeoryo(高麗史節要), 18,543 cases in Joseonwangjo-sillok(朝鮮王朝實錄).
