This book reviews the history of relationship between Korea and Japan in middle (from 11th to 16th century) period based on two trading footholds, Pakta(博多) and Tsushima island(對馬島). This book historically determines, as specifically stated in the preface how the relation between Korea and Japan was formed and who in some areas formed this relationship in early Choson period, from 14th to 16th period. Professor Saeki empirically describes various type of relations between Korean and Japan by contrasting the type of relationship through many historical materials of two countries like a painting.
